11/6---11/13 10pts in class we reviewed again the process of protein synthesis. You are required to go on DE and take the quiz by yourself. You may use class notes and other DE resources to complete the assessment. BUT DO NOT WORK TOGETHER ON IT!

11/7 --- 11/8 - 10pts Complete the labeled diagram assignment for the microscope... (identify the parts and describe each of their functions. You can't go on to the next assignment until getting 90% or higher on this.

11/8---11/9 - 15pts Virtual microscope lab on DE... follow the directions! Answer the questions by being observant!!! Make the sketches in your notebooks.

11/13---11/16 10pts formatted bibliography DRAFT due via email

11/8---11/22 - 25pts Bio related Research Paper submit report via email with bibliography as last page. Be sure to have included in-text citations!

11/27 --- 3pts Give us a quick 1 minute summary of what you learned from your research paper topic.

11/27---11/29 - 10pts Meiosis Summary - group writing prompt. Research by using the given resources and DE search engine if necessary to explain the process of Meiosis.

10/4--10/5 - Due end of class Thursday: type a paragraph that uses an analogy to describe at least 5 of those parts. (NOT A FACTORY ANALOGY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY TOLD TO WRITE ABOUT A FACTORY). (10pts)

How does it produce a protein? - using DE, our class discussions, and notes create a way to represent the DNA molecule, the replication process and protein synthesis... Suggestions: cartoon, sketches, 2-D or 3-D model, manipulative model, skit... be prepared to present it to the class.
